Student Focus - Year 8 Science

St Paul's Year 8 Science students are currently learning about the fascinating topics of sexual and asexual reproduction. Recently, the 8G Science class conducted a hands-on practical investigation focused on the sexual reproductive parts of a plant. During this engaging session, students meticulously dissected flowers to reveal their intricate internal structures. Using scalpels, they demonstrated excellent precision and care, making careful cross-sectional cuts to expose the reproductive organs. Following the dissection, the students skillfully pinned and labelled the various parts of the flower, effectively demonstrating their understanding of plant reproductive anatomy.

The effort and precision shown by 8G in this dissection task were commendable!
