SHINE
Students from ministry classes across Year 9, 10, and 11, attended SHINE at St John Paul College in Coffs Harbour from 21-22 August. SHINE offered students the opportunity to explore their faith and encounter Jesus through multiple experiences, including singing with Wildfire, joint prayer, keynote speeches, workshops, and Mass. SHINE was an important, enlightening journey for students, and left a lasting impact on many.
Coming Up: Catch the Wave
"Catch the Wave" is a one-day youth ministry retreat offered to Year 8 students in the Lismore Diocese. It is a key part of the Diocese's youth ministry program and is designed to introduce students to the concept of faith and ministry in an engaging way.
On Wednesday 3 September the Regional Retreat Team will be heading to St Paul's to facilitate 'Catch the Wave'. Students in Year 8 will be permitted to wear their sport uniform on this day, as they will be involved in different hands-on activities.
