It has been a busy last couple of weeks on the Evangelisation front at St Paul’s. This week we farewelled our Year 12's at Mass on Wednesday. They were joined and supported by the Year 10 and 11 students and the staff of the College. I would like to thank Fr James for celebrating Mass for us, and for all of the support he has provided to Year 12 throughout their time at the College. I’d also like to thank Mrs Beth MacMillan, Mr Angus Crowley, Mrs Amanda Jordan and Mrs Leonie Capararo for their efforts with our musicians.
In other news, several students, Ms Rilee O’Loughlin, Lou our Youth Ministry Officer, Mr MacAndrews and myself braved the weather early on Friday morning to head off to Brisbane for the annual Ignite conference. This conference had been postponed for the last couple of years, and we are all keen to join with people from across the eastern states at this event over the weekend. A full report of the experience will follow in the first newsletter of next Term.
We are excited to begin celebrating Mass more regularly in our Chapel in Term 4. More details about this will follow in the first weeks of the new Term. All of our students will be most welcome to join in the celebration of the Eucharist on Tuesdays at lunchtime.
In the Chapel, we will be continuing with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursdays at lunchtime. I thank Mr MacAndrews for leading this wonderful opportunity.
